Wonderful diving, saw incredible creatures and very large ones at that! Exquisite dining at every meal! Very good dive operation - Dove off the Dive Cat - great crew and dive master - Ariel - was always pointing out things we would have missed in the currents. Thank you for a great week!

Our family has been going to Scuba Club Cozumel for twenty years. We have spent Christmas there many times. Celebrated many birthdays and consider the club as our home in Mexico. One of our daughters was married there two years ago. It was lovely. The staff and all personnel have become friends, and we have all aged together. The diving has always been great, safe and fun.The food and service have always been a little better every visit, with small incremental improvements over the years. It is the best land based diving experience we have encountered since we began diving in the early 70's. We will continue to make it our family reunion location for a long time to come.

14 times to this great Island, the last 10 times to SCC. Our annual trip always brings back those die hards and introduces several newbies to this great place. SCC is the best for the buck. Fantastic reef and wall dives, great staff, great food, great rooms, great boats, Tim runs a great dive shop. Easy dives right in front. No trouble with the wireless. But be careful, after staying here you might be disappointed with other resorts.

I would like to just add that my company East Coast Diver LLC in Hagerstown Maryland make an annual trip to stay at and dive with SCUBA Club Cozumel. We absolutely love the staff and have never had a bad experience. This operation is top notch and our annual line up of trips wouldn't be complete without a trip to Cozumel diving with SCUBA Club! Please visit our photo gallery on www.eastcoastdiverllc.com and see our past trips to SCUBA Club. Thanks Guys, Gary

My wife and I just got back from a week at the Scuba Club. We give it our wholehearted recommendation. The diving was first rate; thanks to Ariel our Dive Master, and to Ray and Budha for all the help on the boats. You will need more weight by the end of the week because they feed you so well. Make a point of doing the shore dive they nickname "Taxi Dive" where you take a taxi down to the light house, get in and drift back to the hotel- about an hour dive and although its mostly a rock bottom there is no shortage of wildlife to see. On a final note- we made some great friends there and hope to see them again at the Scuba Club!

We're coming back and we're bringing the entire family! This was an amazing place specifically suited for divers. We've never had such an incredible diving experience - the entire place was so welcoming and friendly. No matter how much diving experience you've had, this place will not disappoint. We've already made our New Years' Reservations!

I don't believe we've ever had such a fantastic dive trip. The service both IN and OUT of the water was incredible. The restaurant staff, Mario the Maitre'd, Francisco, the best waiter ever, the housekeeping staff, and our divemaster Jesus, were fabulous and we were treated impeccably. The rooms were beautiful - we were right on the beach and steps away from everything you could ever want. If we weren't out on the dive boats, we were diving right off the docks at the hotel. The aquatic life was wonderful right outside our door - especially at night. We just can't say enough about this place! If you're an avid diver, you HAVE to stay at Scuba Club Cozumel!

Two weeks after we came back from SCC (our second time) and we are already planning our next visit to this wonderful, well organized, no nonsense diving resort. We enjoyed support of a great boat crew on the Reef Star (Martin, Carlito and Pedro) during our dives and for the second time had a pleasure to have Alberto Zetina as our divemaster (highly recommended). Also thanks to another divemaster, Nestor Sansores, who helped with my stuck pressure gage on one of our dives. Special thanks to entire kitchen and restaurant staff. We enjoyed all the meals and service was always excellent. Loved the fiesta night menu! Thank you guys!

First of all, SCUBA CLUB COZUMEL is a beautiful resort and second, the staff is loving, caring, and they made me feel at home. I would like to Thank Jesus (Divemaster) and the boat crew from the Coral Diver for the support and assistance. Also, Fransico (waiter) in taking care of us with a great sense of humor. Special Thanks to Jesus (grounds keeper) who was always very courteous and hospitable. I give the resort two thumbs up. See you Scuba Club Cozumel next year for my 40th birthday.

WOW! This was a totally enjoyable experience. The diving was great with very good attention from the boat crew and a divemaster that was the best I\'ve had the pleasure of diving with. The food was terrific with good variety and very tasty as well. I will definitely come back with my wife as I know she will love it as I did.. I especially like the fact that you can dive right in front of the hotel and for my wife that will make all the difference. Thanks for a good time and a tremendous value.

May 22nd thru the 30th 2009. Nine days in heaven. What can I say...I know. SCC is Awesome. I have stayed on the island
more than a dozen times. I have stayed in high end as well as the low. This place rocks them all. For the diver it don't get no better than this. Stepping thru the front gates was like a breath of fresh air. There was a pretty large group of us and everyone was taken care of very well. We dove the Dive Cat with Manuel all week. Manuel is an excellent Divemaster always helpful and a hell of a critter Hunter. The food was very good and the diving Fantastic. I am already trying to set my return trip and it will definitely be at SCC. Sophia I will let you no when to get room 36 ready. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay.

Wow! What a fantastic trip! My wife and I experienced the 5 night (no dinner) package and loved every minute of it. We never dove Cozumel before, but it rocks! Drift diving is awesome as you don't expend much energy; and the fish, coral, and visibility were first class. Divemasters Ariel (and Francisco) were great and Buhdha was very enoyable. The rooms were nice with good views, and the breakfasts and lunches were very good. The rental equipment was also very good. I think we were the only 1st timers at the resort -- good people. Bring a lock for the lockers and take advantage of the diving in front of the resort (day and night). Dinner recommendations include Prima, Lobster House, and La Choza. We flew into Cancun, rented a car, took the ferry over, then afterwards went to Tulum (beach, ruins and cave diving) and then Chichen Itza (Mayaland bungalows). No swine flu, nor drug cartels, just good service, great deals and a lot of fun.

Wow! What can I say. I was part of a 26 diver group and what a great time. Scuba Club Cozumel really makes it easy to have a great time. The diving was fantastic (thanks to our Divemaster Choke and the great boat crew on the Reef Star) and I could not get enough. The rooms were great, the food fantastic and laughs lasted all night (thanks Mario for the Live Chicken). I'm trying to see if we can come back next month (no more late night pool outings I promise). Best vacation I have ever had. Thanks.

Last week was my 5th stay at SCC and it was actually my best. I never tire of the spectacular diving, great facility and great food. Compliments to the new cook. I didn't think things could get any better at SCC, but it seems they have. William gave my wife Viorica an intro to scuba course and shore dive and she absolutely loved it. We will be back at Xmas to get her certified.

Scuba Club Cozumel was paradise for our group of 25 divers who visited during April 11 through 18 of 2009. The hotel accommodations were great, the food was great, the people at the hotel were great, and the diving was splendid. I can hardly wait to return there again, making this an annual ritual of diving, or even sooner! Many thanks to everyone who works at the hotel, in the restaurants, at the dive center, and on the boats.

Dear scc, you have a real nice place I would like to thank the restaurant staff for all their hard work in making the great meals and making sure every guest was taken care of.The fiesta was wonderful, there hasn't been many times in my life that I have seen a feast like that, the pinata was fun too. To the dive masters that made sure everyone in the dive group was having a good dive and the people that carried the tanks back and forth and filled them, thank you.And last but not least thank you norma for all your help and advice and scheduling the scooter for me.

Spent 14 days there March 31 - April 14th. This was our second trip but 7 years apart. What wonderful staff they have and the food is excellent, but plan on gaining a few pounds. The serving portions are large and the desserts too good to pass up. Shout outs to Saul, Tomas and Alberto, for the great service. We really could not tell any difference in the hotel. Everything is kept in excellent condition and the grounds are peaceful. You would never know there was a bustling town just outside the gate and down the road a piece. Enjoy!

My first trip to Cozumel. Did 5 days of 2-tank dives, plus C-53 wreck dive and the twilight/night dive combo; two shore dives (one night, one twilight). Divemasters and crew were very helpful. Wind was too strong to go out the 6th day, but I enjoyed walking into town and window-shopping. Meals were great--I gained a few pounds! Worked some of it off climbing up and down to our penthouse (4th floor) room. Housekeeping and restaurant staff were excellent. I'd recommend it to other divers and plan to come again in the next few years.

To all the staff of SCC - THANK YOU! We stayed with you for the last two weeks in January 09. This was our second of many more trips. Last year we stayed for one week and decided on the plane home that one week was just not long enough. We were able to get to know your wonderful staff better and it made the trip even more enjoyable. A special Thanks to Mario and Tomas, the beach parties were really fun. We decided to take a trip to Chichen Itza. We asked at the front desk and they set the whole trip up for us, it was a flawless trip. It was, however, a very long day (14 hours) but very worth it. Bring swim suit and towel so you can swim in the cenote, you will be thankful you did. Even though we experienced some less-then-ideal weather, one day got canceled because of wind, the diving was still great. Drift, walls, deep, night, wreck, it's all here at SCC.

To the dive staff: Thank you, you were all wonderful. You were all able to make every dive special in some way from sharks to rays, large free swimming morays to the tiniest spotted drum we ever saw. We had a dive vacation we will never forget. Thank you again,

Scuba Club Cozumel has been delivered a consistent and pleasurable experience for our family since 1994. We love the warmth provided by the staff and the food and accommodations are great... particularly for the price. A true Mexican experience that feels authentic vs the alternative. We were very impressed in SCC. This place was new to us and we did not know what to expect. WOW!! We had a great time and loved the food. Having breakfast ready for us before we go was great and having lunch ready when we came back was the best thing because we were soooo hungry! Not having to look for places to eat was the way to go. At dinner time we were tired from a long day of diving and all we had to do is sit down at your table. For anyone who loves ice cream you have to try the coconut ice cream OH MY GOSH! IT IS AWESOME!!!! Carla was a great guide and she has a friendly manner to her but she is business. She knew just where to look and go. The web cam was a great idea not only for people to see SCC but for family and children back at home to see you while you are gone!! The only thing I wish we had was a TV. If anyone has kids or someone who is not diving then they have something to watch in the comfort of their rooms. And that's the only thing that was wrong! Thanks for everything there. Y'all made it special for us.

My wife and just returned from a week's stay with you and your staff at Scuba Club (Feb. 19 - Feb. 26 in room 36). As with our past stays, we had a great time. You folks truly make us feel like we're coming to our vacation home in Cozumel. That starts with Sofia welcoming us home again, and it just continues from there. Everyone one of your crew are so personable, friendly, and professional. Sofia was able to get us into the room we had requested in our reservation. While I do understand that that has a lot to do with booking needs, it was a very special treat for us. We especially enjoy having one of the rooms that face the ocean near the restaurant and having that request met was, again, great.

We have come to feel that many of your staff are in fact friends. Thomas, Fransisco, Alberto, & Miguel are among those who seem to always go the extra mile to make our stay special.

The group at S.C.U.B.A. Cozumel are also top notch. Compared to the dive operations I've experienced in my travels, they are one of the best. They are professional, friendly and consistent in their adherence to safe diving. I like that they are careful to group diver by experience level and then with a compatible dive master. This make for safe and fun dive for all. Great job!

This was our first trip there for Carnaval. Wow, what a treat. Thank you so much for arranging the three groups of dancer who performed in front of the resort during the week. Who would have guessed there were so many talented and dedicated kids on the island? Also the special entertainment held inside the resort for Festival night was a special surprise. Raymundo & the office staff were really great. My wife enjoyed taking part in Raymundo's dance lesson. And is Carolina cute or what?

In closing, again, thanks so much for the place, staff and entire experience you all provide to your guests. That's what makes you stand out from all the other resorts on the island. Thanks so much & we'll see you again soon.

This was my first stay at Scuba Club Cozumel and my first time attending Bonnie Pelnar's Photo Workshop. All I can say is that the whole experience was FANTASTIC! The hotel staffİat SCC was very attentive and each staff memberİwent out of their way to make our vacation as enjoyable as possible. Theirİdive crew wasİvery safety-conscious and their DM's did a great job of pointing out unusual critters on each dive. The restaurant staff offered service with a smile and the food served was delicious and plentiful. The 'frosting on the cake' was being able to attend Bonnie's photo workshopİduringİour stay at the resort. Her classes were very informative with lots of opportunities for asking questions and gaining feedback. I learned important things about photo composition and using Photoshop that I didn't previously know. In addition to the group presentations offered byİBonnie, sheİmet personally with each attendee to offer advice and helpful tips about their images. The photo contest that's held during the workshop helps to get everyoneİmotivated to put knowledge into practice. I offer two thumbs up for the Scuba Club Cozumel Resort and Bonnie Pelnar's Photo Workshop!

Bonnie Pelnar's workshop at SCC was fun and educational, with just the right dash of irreverence. It got me past the newbie jitters with an underwater camera. The SCC staff was friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping staff has a towel-artist par excellence, leaving towel sculptures of a swan, turtle and whale on our freshly-made bed. We loved the Reef Cat boat, and the divemasters were skilled and knowledgeable. To top it off, the food was good.

I also did the Devils Throat at about 124 feet and the Church, and many other dive sites during my 5 day visit including Santa Rosa Wall. I have been going to the Scuba Club for 21 years on almost a yearly basis. I had my wedding there last year! It is the most fantastic resort you will ever find. I just came back from my first trip to Cozumel. I consider this to be one of my best vacation. The hotel was comfortable, the food was excellent, staff was friendly and the dive crew was exceptional. Thanks to Jose, Martin, Miguel, the Coral Diver crew and the Reef Diver crew. I had 12 dives in 4 days and every single one was memorable. I recommend highly the twilight dive. Once again a wonderful week at Scuba Club. Thanks to all the staff for everything. It was so nice to see the same people again, Tomas, Alberto, Alonso, Miriam, Norma and all the other super staff whose names I cannot recall at this moment, too many Margaritis???. Luis (Chokey) was our divemaster this trip and he and his crew were great! Thanks to Chokey for the flower and the poodle for the other gal on our boat that day and for his expert eye while diving. Also thank you to the wonderfully talented maid whose towel artwork amazed us and our friends, turtle and a moose! We had a nice relaxing vacation (as always at Scuba Club)and the food was just as fantastic as we remembered from our last stay here. We had a great time at the Fiesta, thanks to the gal making the hand made tortillas. And as it appears to be a custom at Scuba Club we met some new friends, room #74 (you know who you are) and enjoyed our time with them. We will be returning again, and hopefully very soon.

We just spent a week at Scuba Club Cozumel and will be back again. We were there for the Photo Workshop by Bonnie Pelnar and we had a totally awesome time. The weather in August is wonderful and the water temps were like 84 degrees. We stayed in room 72 and we loved the room and the location. The beds are great and we had a small frige. We were right near the dive shop and that was handy for gearing up and rinsing your equipment. Food was really nice with a great variety along with super service. All the staff front the guard at the front gate to the yard men were all very polite and helpful. We hung our gear right at our door with no worries. They provide lockers but there is no rod to hang things so just hang them on the rod by your room.

Shore diving was awesome, especially at night. There is a lot of rubble and broken concrete docks that have lots of fish life and critters. Boat crews were great and very helpful.

Thanks Scuba Club, we had a ball!!! Also a big thanks to Bonnie Pelnar, hope to see you for the next one. Scott and Troy

The night dives off the pier were wonderful, it was really nice to walk out of the water. The food was great. Our first meal was lunch on our arrival day. The steak Yucatica was spectacular and we've been attempting to reproduce it since. All of the meals were wonderful, and dinners were especially delightful. We met some very nice people who became good friends. Walking into the downtown area was easy, although sometimes we needed a taxi back at night because it was dangerous to walk. Not crime, but falling down due to, hmmm. The staff was very pleasant. If you can speak even a little Spanish, getting along in Cozumel can be much better. But it seems like a great deal of the populace speaks English. The dive masters were a delight to work with. They would set bottom and time limits but let us dive to our computers. I don\'t know how this worked with some of the other boats. The boat crews were all very efficient. I don't like anyone handling my gear and they understood this and left me to myself. If you haven't been to Cozumel, try Santa Rosa, Herradura and Yocab. Parisio Sur is nice, but not what it used to be. Tormentos is an advanced dive on some days due to the current.

We've just had another wonderful week of diving. We tried the Wreck Dive, and it can be done without gloves and a dive light, but I'm bringing both next year. For the night dive we found Zip ties and glow sticks really handy. I plan to bring extra conditioner for my hair - to slather on after the second tank dive to help keep the wind from tangling it as we head back to the hotel. I'm adding a small bottle of vinegar and cotton pads to the boat bag, and Benedryl cream, since the little jelly fish bites are annoying, plus itchy as heck. It was hot-hot-hot this time (May) but the AC is freezing, so a light sweater is good for the restaurant(s). We remembered to pack our own lock for the handy lockers plus thick plastic hangers for the wonderful rod on our patio to hang up our gear instead of draping it all over the two chairs. I brought two swimsuits, so one could dry while I wore the second. Be aware that any tools you bring might get through USA security, but the Mexican security will confiscate all tools - even Allen wrenches - if they're not checked through. Also, leave enough room/weight in your checked bag to allow for bringing home tequila/vanilla/souvenirs. We weren't allowed to go over 50 pounds for our checked bag and spent a lot of time rearranging our bags to get it down to the right weight. Next year we're bringing an empty duffle to use for the souvenirs (you can check two bags through). There is a grocery "Chedraui" that has luggage, tequila, clothes, deli, water ... but doesn't sell liquor on Sunday, and it's barely two blocks from the hotel. Easy walking distance. If you run out of time for souvenir shopping Cinco Soles is a great one-stop shopping spot. They're open 10: - 9:00, but if cruise ships aren't docked those times can fluxuate wildly. When we get tired of eating at the hotel, we head for Pancho's Backyard, La Veranda, La Choza and Guidos. La Prima is pure italian, with greek salads and wine. Also the French Quarter is yummy, as is the mid-island "La Mission". Taxi's are usually $3 and they're happy to accept dollars. We didn't exchange any money this year. We love Scuba Club Cozumel, and look forward to many more dive trips with our favorite dive shop.

Muchas gracias for the webcam! Now I can check up on my dad and mom (Gene & Joan) while they're vacationing at their "home away from home" and see if they're behaving themselves -- or having fun misbehaving! Thanks so much for always providing wonderful hospitality for them. I haven't visited SCC yet, but certainly hope to someday.

We visited Scuba Club for the 8th time March 29 through April 5 and as always, it was like coming home. Thanks to Mario for his excellent service and the kitchen staff for the perfectly presented meals. Sophie, Norma and the front desk for all their assistance. Housekeeping always has nice little touches to make the room even better. The dive shop is excellent and the diving was wonderful for me and for my wife and her shore snorkeling. She played out front with a nice octopus and several smaller eels along with a large chain eel. The best for me though was Ariel and his frog fish find. Thanks for everything and we'll see you next year!

I dived here as an experienced diver for the first time April 3 to 12, 2008. The vegetarian food I selected was excellent, the staff courteous, and the room fabulous.
Copious towels made the stay more enjoyable. The diving was good, although a cold precluded me from exploring the night and wreck dives. I would highly recommend this resort for a relaxing dive trip. A short walk into town or the grocery store make the location desirable. I will be back.

Had a great time at SCC in Oct '07, Feb '08, and we will be coming back again for the 4th of July '08 (probably our 10th stay at SCC). We love everyone there, but you all know that!!! My first dives were at Scuba Club,my son got his certification there when he was 12, we got married in CZM in '06, and our very very best friends (our second family) are right there at Scuba Club! Can't wait to lug our equipment out of the van and have some lunch and see everyone again! We miss you ALL, but we'll see you soon!

We spent 17 days at Scuba Club in March/April 2008. Now I know why so many people go back year after year. This was our second trip to Cozumel, we already plan to be back next year, and definitely at Scuba Club. The whole place is very very clean. The food and food service was excellent. The people could not be any nicer, always helpful and pleasant. Perfectly set up for diving and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

A huge thanks to Ariel for the frog fish find and his ongoing excellence along with the professional dive shop staff. Sophie, Norma and the office staff who are always ready to help. Mario and the wait staff who always present such beautiful meals. The guard out front, the maintenance man, the housekeeper and anyone that I have forgotten to mention that are always eager to do their jobs. Thanks. We love your island and can't wait to come again next year.

Rooms were clean, Beds/Pillows are too firm. Dives were exceptional, DM's were very helpful and knowlegable. Food is the best and most quantity I have ever experienced. Staff is hard working and very polite. We will be back, when the snow here returns to the prairie. Internet should be available in the rooms, that would be a welcome addition. Overall is was well worth every penny spent to fly and stay in beautiful Cozumal!

Your staff were so nice and friendly all the time, I wanted to take them all home with us. The food was good and the dinners were always presented so nice. The group we were with also had great diving. It was the best vacation. It was sad to leave, but we will be back. Thanks for everything. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ALL of you. We just got back from a week at SCC and it was amazing. I always looked forward to breakfast and I loved the french toast. Then I packed my gear at the dive lockers (which were really helpful) and boarded the Reef Star. The crew was so helpful and helped me if my stuff was too heavy (which was pretty much every day). Then our divemaster Ariel took us to two awesome sites. Then we'd get back and have a yummy lunch. The salsa was amazing-it was so fresh. Then I could relax or go on an afternoon boat dive. Then we had dinner, which was always so good. I think I gained a few pounds from the coconut ice cream alone. The food was so good; it was the best hotel food I've had. Then I'd hang out with my dive buddies on the pier or the roof and we would talk to Lupe the security guard. What I'm saying is that I had an amazing time. The wait staff was so nice and remembered our room numbers. I was really sad when we had to leave. I would to back to SCC in a heartbeat!!!

Time, plus pleasure, gives me this great opportunity to address these few lines of thanks to all of you at Scuba Club Cozumel. Thank you VERY MUCH for a wonderful vacation and dive experience! The employees, at your Club, are polite, warm, caring & like to have Fun! Arrived in Cozumel Sept. 15th, returned home Sept. 22nd 2007. This was my 1st time visiting Scuba Club Cozumel. The scuba club I am a member of back home, "The Sea Duecers" have been coming here for approx. 15 years & are all very experienced divers. Prior to this trip, completed my PADI Open Water certification in 2005 & had completed only a total of 10 dives in my life. Master Scuba Diver Instructor Trainer RAYMUNDO taught and coached me through the Advanced Open Water course. His professionalism, intelligence, ability to speak English, patience, understanding, communication skills, politeness, sense of humor & leadership skills are greatly appreciated! I commend his teaching ability and excellence in customer service! The team on our boat, GEISER, EDWARDO, PAULO & the rest of the crew were GREAT! I apologize for not knowing all of your names. Lo Siento. I believe we were on the Coral Reef boat and EVERYONE was of great assistance. I had lost my camera during the last dive for the day & the entire crew went the next morning & found the location where my camera was lost. Tony, another Sea Duecers club member found my camera! This was a miracle! Muchas Gracias! The food was superb! MARIO, EDGAR & their staff did an excellent job in making my dining experiences enjoyable. Thanks to all of you for making me feel part of your Scuba Club Cozumel family! I will definitely be back to see all of you!
Mucho Gusto! Muchas Gracias! Sincerely,

I was diver with the Midwest Scuba Dive shop (St. Louis, Missouri) staying at your resort from September 22-29, 2007. It was my first time diving in salt water as a certified diver. It was also my first time to boat dive, and the first time at your resort. I feel that the experience created by your friendly and professional staff will be hard to surpass. Estoy muy agradecida con Miquel, el dive master, y los ayudantes del barco (Martin, Carlos, y Pepe) Todo estaba perfecto! I just returned from a fantastic vacation at the Scuba Club Cozumel. It's been nearly 15 years since I was at this same location previously named Galapagos Inn. It was just as I remembered, convenient, friendly, and meals that offered local cuisine and variety of local spices. No other resort offers COMPLETE services for a diver. A restaurant less than 50 yards from your room, a dock less than 100 yards and the ONLY 5 star Padi facility on the island makes for a comfortable and confident destination. Though the rooms do NOT offer the same ammenities as a 4 star hotel room, the simple, clean, tiled floored rooms are more than adequate. This is a divers destination. From the front desk to the waiters, the entire staff was friendly and personable. Norma, Isabel and Mariam were great in arranging massages and a trip to Chichen Itza. Thanks for a memorable vacation.

SCC proved to be a great choice for us with our teenage boys. The divemasters were able to evaluate our varying experience an take us on safe and fun dives. We were in a small group all week. The food was good and plentiful and even filled up two large teenage boys. The staff was friendly and helpful. Someone even got our bags from the airport because of an airline goof up. SCC is a great place to relax and dive, dive, dive!

My husband and I decided Scuba Club would be a good place to take our 10 year old daughter for her open water check out dives. What a great choice we made. We brought along our Dive Instructor but Raymundo A. was a great help. He pointed out lots of marine life for our daughter to see. While at Scuba Club our daughter made 12 dives. 5 boat dives including the wreck C-53, she a I stayed around 40 ft while everyone else pentraited the wreck. We saw plenty of marine life outside the wreck. We did several night dives just off the dock at the resort and saw lots of Octopus and even Squid. We look forward to our next stay a Scuba Club.

Thanks!! for one more great week, number 16 with the crew from Chico State Uni. We made every effort to win in our annual Basketball game, and lost. Both Wanda and I just got back from diving in the Red Sea, we should have stayed at Scuba Club. Thanks to the great team at Scuba club, we have never found a better place to stay and dive. Thanks to Tim, and the dive masters, Geiser Melendez, Grandfather Martin Vera, and Miguel (Mike) Blanco, who are the best we have dived with around the world, You can request them, except June 7th through 14th 2008, they are taken. The Boat Crew of Captain Henry, and Manuel Tzuc and Feliciano ( Reef Cat) are Superior. Sophie and her team are great, Thanks. Mario and the Meal teams, Except for Francisco (cheap shot in basketball) are with out question the very best. Until next year. Wanda and Larry

This was my first experience with Scuba Club. My wife is a non-diver, but still she enjoyed herself. On off days, I would recommend a trip to town - it is a short walk for shopping. It is so convenient to have the diving right there at the resort. Even with such a small island, you want to spend your time diving, and when your not diving - then you should be eating or resting/off gassing for the next dive. You would not be able to do that as well if you spent most of your time in taxis being taken back to your "other" place. The sunsets are spectacular here, and if you need anything, all you have to do is ask. I will definitely be back - hopefully soon.

It is hard to believe that we had not been back to our SCUBA CLUB Home for four years!!! It was great to return and find all of our friends still working there!! From the front desk to the chambermaids, the restaurant staff and the dive staff - we were welcomed back with open arms. And the hammocks - we ate early so that we could relax in the hammocks after dinner and watch the night divers lights under the water. As I told Sophia and Mario when we had to leave for our Florida home - "it was great to come home again!" We look forward to returning soon. (But next time I am planning to be able to speak Espanol!)

We just returned from Scuba Club, and I have to say it was an amazing experience!!!! I did my Open Water Certification with Raymundo the first 2 days and the rest was spent night diving, shore diving and boat diving. I am officially an addict. Raymundo was wonderful! He was the divemaster on several of my dives and he made diving a great experience. We also meet some great dive buddies that we plan on diving with in the future. But the best part was Keith proposed to me underwater on our last dive of the trip. Raymundo and all of our dive buddies, "The Yes Dear Dive Club," was present and that made it even better. What great people to share a special moment with. The whole experince at Scuba Club was incredible!!!! We will definately be back and tell everyone about it. Scuba Club is the best!

We spent our honeymoon diving, dining and relaxing. The dives are like living in a Discovery Channel program. The views are out of a travel brochure. The food is superb and the staff impeccable. Chocky and Alberto are both good 'finders' on the reefs for turtles, rays, etc. This was relaxation and beauty combined to make a perfect week. We're already planning our next trip back. Where does a dive store owner go for his personal dive vacation? Why Scuba Club of course! My wife Linda and I wanted a relaxed, no hassle, vacation with great diving, so we chose Scuba Club, a resort we have taken dive groups to for over 15 years. Great resort, great staff, great food and great diving are the reasons why Scuba Club consistently ranks as one of the CaribbeanÌs top dive resorts.

We just returned from a wonderful week at Scuba Club Jan 12-19, 2007. When I researched places to go, and read all of the positive comments about this place, I have to tell you, I was doubtful. But they are all true! The dive operations were very professional and exceptionally well organized. Carla, Eduardo, and Polo on the Coral Diver were all wonderful and by the end of the week Scuba Club really felt like home. The resort is kept very clean and each room has it's own style. The fountains, sculptures and tile work throughout the resort add a wonderful Mexican charm to the stucco buildings. The food was delicious and plenitful. The staff always had a Hola or a Buenos Dias as they passed you in the resort. The Scuba Club is conveniently located a 3 block walk from a grocery store and a 15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride from town. This resort is all about diving. We will definately return!

My son and a buddy of mine stayed at SCC Jan4-11. The room was great, the food was above average, and the dive staff was unbelievable. If you go try to dive with Carla or Nestor, they are the best Divemasters on the resort. The shore diving was very nice and there is lots of life right out front for and afternoon dive or a night dive. My only complaint was that the pillows were a bit hard but next time I will bring my own. SCC is a class A resort and I will be going back this year and for many years to come. I dove the C-53 wreck which was a nice dive, but I will probably wait to dive it again for a couple years as the wreck is still young and hasn't had a lot of time to team with life, but it was a nice dive. Thanks Scuba Club Cozumel for making our vacation a memorable one.

What an excellent vacation. My wife and I stayed from Dec. 26 to Jan 1 and had a blast. This was our first diving vacation and it was everything we could hope for and more. We will be back again and agian. This was my wifes first chance to dive since getting certified in July 2006. The divestaff was great our divemaster was Francisco and he was always checking to make sure everything was okay. The boat crew (Coral Diver) was excellent on making sure everything was ready to go, getting us out of the water and getting us ready for the next dive. There is plenty to see, tons of fish, turtles, spotted eagle rays, nurse sharks and beautiful coral. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff was great. We didn't have to ask for anything. The food was good and there was plenty to eat. Town was a short walk and there was plenty to see and do. There is also a supermarket only a few blocks from the hotel to pick-up any munchies you need. All-in-all it was one of the best vacations we had ever been on and we will be back again and again. We won't stay anyplace else.

Our family of 5 (3 kids in their 20's) stayed at SCC 26-31 Dec 06. 3 kids had new openwater quals, Dad was more experienced, Mom was a non-diver. Vacation was fantastic, in 3 days of diving we saw 6 different reefs plus went on a wreck/night dive. All dive shop and boat crews were great. Dad was a beginner on the underwater camera but got great photos. Staff at SCC were excellent as was the food. Dinner dress was casual but table, meals and service was formal and excellent.Wireless connection was perfect.Easy 15 minute walk to town (or $5 taxi) Take small denomination notes, dollars taken everywhere. Little/no need for pesos. There is a supermarket close to SCC and rooms have fridges. Purified water is available in the corridors and safe ice can be picked up from the bar. We experienced no health problems.
Our last day we went on a ferry/bus tour to Chichen Itza. We booked this before we went.It is a long day starting with the 7am ferry, coming back on the 9pm ferry. It was very worthwhile and included visits to a waterhole (take swimsuit), a lovely colonial town, great buffet lunch and ample time at Chichen Itza. This was much cheaper than the flying version Chichen Itza tour and gave us time on the bus to get background history from our fluent guide.
All in all we had a perfect diving vacation and will definitely return to SCC.
A last note. Mom stupidly left her laptop lying around. Another guest gave it to the front desk staff and they got it back to me. All the staff were very friendly as well as efficient.

This has been the best dive vacation that I could imagine. Everything from the diving to the accomodations, dining, boatcrews and the divemasters and their expertise - all exceeded expectations! Divemaster Alberto went FAR out of his way to show us the best diving in Cozumel. Everything from wrecks to night diving to unreal wildlife (Eagle rays, eels, turtles, nurse sharks, batfish, octopus, etc) - he knows where it all is. Devil's Throat (Punta Sur Reef) at 130 feet is not to missed! Plan to return again next year :)

What a great place! I have yet to find a better dive vacation then what SCC can offer. Customer service is what they are all about. From the diving, room accomodations, to the all-inclusive meal program, these folks know how to run a business. I can't wait to get back there.

We have been on some fabulous dive vacations but none were more relaxing than the time we spent at Scuba Club Cozumel. The reef is recovering nicely and the dives were wonderful but the highlight of the trip was worrying about nothing. The services and the food were outstanding. I am trying to clear my schedule soon for another trip. Thanks to everyone

Just came back from my 5th stay (my wife's 4th) at Scuba Club Cozumel. Last month we had our trip interrupted by some bad weather - Hurricane Wilma! This year, we and a number of the other folks from our group last year returned. It felt like a homecoming for us and the folks at the resort. We were literally greeted with open arms and hugs and we in turn were so happy to see so many of the same good people who had been so good to us last year. We had a wonderful time, enjoying the diving, the food and the friendship. The diving was great - some areas different, some even better. If you hadn't been there before, you'd never notice the changes at SCC - if anything it's better than ever! Thanks again for a great time. We'll be back!

We stayed at your resort for the 5th time this past June and have already made arrangements to come back next June. We continue to explore other dive sites and operators but no one compares with you folks!! You have become our extended family and we always look forward to returning to our "other home". Keep up the good work-it is appreciated!!

I would like to thank you and William for your efforts, kindness and the extensive knowledge available to me during my Open Water Training / Test at your facility in May 06. Most of all I like to thank for putting me through the grinder making me earn the Open Water license step by step . Instructor William did not shy away from any effort and than some to make it stick . In short providing solid skills and a clear understanding of scuba diving fundamentals. Also thanks to the Captain of your dive boat who padded me with a friendly smile and soothing words on my first dive to calm my tension.

My family just returned from our second stay at SCC, and I must compliment you on your excellent hotel and dive operation. The rooms and grounds are spotless, the food service is excellent, and the dive boats and staff are top notch. The 2 tank twilight and night dive can\'t be beat. Your staff is friendly and helpful, and the dive operations and facilities are professional and accomadating. Thanks for another great dive trip!

If you like being treated like royalty Scuba Club Cozumel is the place to go. The personnel on the boats work exceptionally well together and are very helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. The persons on land are quick, helpful and wanting to give you anything you want. I wouldn't have returned 6 times if this weren't true.

August 2006 - Just returned from Cozumel, i was staying at the resort close to SCC, but met a diver on the ferry who recommmended that i check out the SCC. I am glad i did. Most of the people diving there were repeat customers, always a good sign, and the staff were friendly and knowlegable. I trusted them to train my 15 yr old daughter, and was very pleased with the results. I now have a new, confident, well trained, certified dive buddy. My thanks to instructor Raymundo. There are many dive operations to chose from on Cozumel, most are friendly, but some not close to the professional operational standards of SCC.

28 Jul 2006 - Just returned from 1st trip to Cozumel. Stayed at SCC for 7 nights 5 days diving but diving was good enough to add an extra day. We were greatly impressed with SCC and the island as a whole. The divemasters were great, food was above our expectations (not to spicy either!). Location is very convienient to town. Did quite a bit of shopping and surprisingly enough for T-Shirts, hats, trinkets the prices are better in town then "The other side". One of the T-Shirts I bought from "The Other Side" had a hole in it which I discovered after I washed it. The "Pee Pee Stations" on the way over to the other side are very clean. Everyone was very friendly and we felt very safe. If you have never been to Cozumel I strongly reccomend SCC. The best reefs are South, Palancar, Columbia, Santa Rosa very impressive reef pinacles. Sharks, large fish (becoming a rarity everywhere else). Many thanks to Manuel (DM), Tomas (very friendly), Miquel, Pedro, Franciso, Edgar, Lenata, Chucky (DM), Luis and Pedro (great boat crew). Alberto, great captain. And countless others. We also did the Dolphin experience worth the cost. Good deal on transporation at Less Pay down the street, old but drivable. We will return someday. SCC will have a repeat customer that day!

Dave and I have been coming to Scuba Club every year for years now.The staff is the only reason you need, but there is much more! The diving is excellant, the all inclusive food plan is great, and tasty. Very easy for a diver to not have to work hard and relax because they have their own fleet of boats! I could go on and on about rooms, the grounds, private beach, but I would write a book! Just come and enjoy the fruits of your labor at Scuba Club.

The diving was the best I have ever seen and our dive master Carla made the trip a total joy. If you have never been to Cozumel I encourage you to book with SCC! The resort was the nicest on the island and the food was above our expectations. Thanks to all the staff and look forward to many return trips.

It was great to return to Scuba Club and find the reefs in such great shape. We had read many comments about the condition of the reefs. After coming from a dive trip to Fiji and Australia, places that had not experinced a nutural disaster, we found the reefs in Cozumel superior to those.

Many of the resorts in Cozumel had not reopened, while others were not up to par. It is a credit to the entire staff at Scuba Club that everything was up and running and in great shape. In fact, there had been many improvements.
Beyond the diving, the important thing about Scuba Club is the outstanding service we received from the land based crew. Mario and Edgar made sure we were fed on time and presented a great, varied menu. Tim makes sure everything runs smoothly in the dive shop.

He has a great crew working from him. He also handles the e-mail that Scuba Club receives. Sophia makes us feel at home. She does a great job with all the responsibilty she has. She also has a very cooperative staff who will help you with any problem from lost luggage to lost keys.

Next year the Chico Crew will arrive at Scuba Club on June 9th and leave on the 16th.This year Francisco outsmarted us in basketball by bringing in a "ringer" who wasn't even part of the staff and beat us by 30 points remember 'WE WILL RETURN!!

We dove with the crew of the Reef Cat and they were all very professional not to mention fun. We had nineteen people aboard and our divemasters Geiser, and Alberto made every effort to be sure each person was safe and enjoyed their dive. The captain, Henry, with his crew Mauel T. and Feliciano C. were superior to any crew we have ever dove with---right before we went to Cozumel we dove in Australia and Figi. The crews on the boats in both places couldn't come close to the service and expertise we had on the Reef Cat.

ust retuned from a great week of diving at Scuba Club 5-20 to 5-27-06 which we had been at many times before. The entire staff was better than ever. The reefs which we dove were in great condition with abundant life and no sign of damage from the hurricaine last October. My husband and I just returned 4/25 from a wonderful dive trip to Scuba Club. This was our 7th visit with them and each time is better than the last. Even though the reefs are different, due to Wilma, they are just as spectacular. The main pier was completed and reopened while we were there and that put the finishing touch to the resort's damage. The staff of Scuba Club could not be nicer. Francisco, our dive master, and the crew of Reef Star, were great, as was Mario and all the resturant staff. We will be back again.

The trip my family tood at the end of March 2006 was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. Not only was the diving great, but the staff of the diving club, dining rooms, housekeeping, front office were all helpful, friendly, professional and fun. The chefs should be expecially recognized as the food was outstanding. When we booked our trip we expected good diving but were not sure about the rest of the package. We just returned from our rescheduled trip to Cozumel. As members of Great Lakes Aquanauts Scuba Club, we were supposed to have arrived on October 22 -- but Wilma beat us there! We were amazed at the devastation of the vegetation as our plane flew over the island, but we were more than delighted with the accommodations and the diving at Scuba Club Cozumel. The clarity of the water was amazing. It was interesting to see all the sand that had washed over the shallow reefs, but it was also fascinating to see that below about 50 feet, there was still abundant fish and fauna life. We had five glorious days of diving and saw at least a half dozen spotted eagle rays, big French angels and groupers, many large lobsters actually out during the daytime crawling around, one big green starfish and at least 150 foot vis. The resort was in excellent shape complete with new sand on the beach and while we were there, construction of the new boat dock was being completed. Everything about our stay was excellent. After being there, we have no reservations about taking a trip there, in fact, we highly recommend it.

First I would have to say bravo to all of the staff at scuba club. This was my first stay with SCC and it was remarkable!!! The food was great, the room was beautiful, and the diving was excellent! Our divemaster Nester was the best. He was kind, informative, and very helpful showing us all the beautiful things there was to see!! It was nice to go on vacation and not be treated like just another customer, but like a friend. We spent April 1 to April 8, 2006 with the Scuba Club family. The service was outstanding, the food was fantastic and the water was perfect. Even though the island has been decimated in many locations south and north of San Miguel, Scuba Club Cozumel is in top shape and the downtown area is almost fully recovered. We loved every minute of our stay thanks to the friendly staff. Francisco, Norma, Manuel, Saul, Tomas and the housekeeping staff's many smiles helped make this vacation one of our best.

Wow! Another fabulous stay at Scuba Club, which is just as impressive as ever. The reefs were still fantastic with (in some places) more fish than I remember from before. Lots of smaller fish and larger reef formations, plus, the shore diving is much better -- we saw a sharp tail eel, a couple of flounder, squid, octopus, sea horses, and lots of damsel fish. Also saw more turtles and rays than we've seen in the past. Mario and Edgar really made us feel at home. You guys are fantastic!!! I can't wait to go back! We noticed that it wasn't just Scuba Club that has recovered so well, but the island as a whole. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay at Scuba Club so wonderful. I believe that the place is in better shape than before the huricane and I can't believe how quickly it has been put back into shape after hearing the stories and seing the pictures, it's a testiment to the employees at the best dive resort I've ever been at. The reefs have changed but the changes have been good, the diving was great, I saw more Eagle and Southern Rays than ever before. Turtles,Sharks,BIG Lobsters,a HUGE Moray, Drum Fish, The great Splendid Toad and even a Seahorse right out in front on a shore dive. It was great to see how the Island has recovered and I can't wait to get back. A special thanks to "Pancho" for taking us on great dives as always!

Once again the Chico Crew will be coming to our favorite place to dive. This year there will be nineteen of us. Seventeen of those are experieced divers. The majority of those have been to Scuba Club many times before, and are looking forward to returning. These are people who have been to some of the most reknown diving sites around the world. Yet, when it gets down to it they always come back to Scuba Club at least once a year.

For Wanda and I this will be our twentieth straight year diving at Scuba Club We would not return there if the service and safety weren't the best.

We finally figured out a way to avoid being disappointed with the other dive operations where we have been around the world. This year we will start in Australia and dive the Great Barrier Reef then on to Figi and finally to Scuba Club saving the best for the last stop. We have always done this the other way around and Scuba Club has made it hard to be happy with other dive operations.

The quality of the people who work at Scuba Club is superior. Tim and his crew in the dive shop, Sophie and the front office and Mario and the dining operation, combine to make the service rank with the top dive operations in the world. Keep in mind that Scuba Club is a dive operation not a country club for those who are seeking recreation beyond diving.

The Chico crew will be arriving on the 10th of June and hope to retain our titles in volleyball and basketball. This is really not recreation It is a personal battle between Scuba Club and Chico State University.

I would really like to say "THANKS". In the first part of February 2 of my students headed to SCC to complete their open water training. I had done their academics and pool portion and they were headed south to do their open waters. Jose was their instructor. What a great job! They just got back and were all smiles and I wanted to pass along their experience. The lady was very nervous to be in the ocean for the first time and Jose put his hand out and made her feel comfortble. They saw all they could have imagined and Jose was just as excited to show them the reef as they were to see. Another great job! They also were all applause the the rest of the diving staff and the restaurant! Thanks

Hello everyone,
We wanted to let you know what a great experience we had the week of December 3rd. Despite the hurricane, it was hard to believe the Scuba Club had sustained damage. And the little we saw was fast being repaired. The impeccable service, food and rooms are still excellent and evident. The diving looks a little different underwater but as usual lots and lots of life to see. We highly recommend everyone go to see our friends at the Scuba Club. You will be as impressed as ever. Dear Sophia

It is Christmas eve and I woke up thinking of you and the people of Cozumel I hope that your lives are getting back to normal. I am not a person that writes many letters but I felt I needed to let you now how much Julie and I appreciated the help you and everyone at the hotel gave us. You stayed on the phone for days trying to make arrangements for everyone to get home and dealt with desperate people in a kind and understanding way even though you and your family were having to deal with the damage the storm did to your homes and lives, even as Julie And I were standing in line waiting to go into the airport Edgar who was there sending his family to the mainland until conditions on the island got better took time to help us with the language barrier. The day I walked though town looking for medicines friends though it would be dangerous to walk alone under those conditions but I found everyone I met very helpful and the one thing I remember most about that day was how people werenÌt standing around waiting for someone to help them everyone was busy cleaning up the town. When people ask me about the storm I tell them its something I would not want to experience again but if you have to be in a hurricane Scuba Club Cozumel is the best place to be.

Merry Christmas Mike & Julie Snook

To everyone at SCC,
Great job!!! The entire staff should be very proud of what they have accomplished in such a short time since Wilma. The resort and resort facilities continue to be top notch. And the reason for that is the staff. We were disappointed that we could not be at SCC for our annual Halloween party because of Wilma. But were very happy to help bring in the Christmas season with a "warmup" fiesta. Thank you SCC.
The marine life is great. Multiple spotted eagle rays on almost every dive. Morays on every dive. Octopus on almost every dive (day and night). Turtles on every dive. Nurse sharks on almost every dive. More and bigger swim throughs. Thank you Wilma.
The diving, accomidations, and staff continue to be the best. As they say, "Free Willy".

All I can say is "I am impressed!" My family owns two dive shops and I run one of them. Needless to say we have a very active travel schedule visiting resorts and destinations around the world and also operate our own charter service. I have been coming to the Scuba Club now for about 15 years. I did not think their staff could impress my any more than they already had.

We were supposed to arrive in October the Saturday that hurricane Wilma hit the island. Well we did not obviously make it then, but I just go back with my group of 20+ customers. The staff and service was amazing. It was almost hard to tell that there was even damage to the resort (other than the main peir is missing.) The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy on land and in the water. I have my favorite meals that Mario made sure we had. Sophia was great in helping us get to the island when our flights got messed up and we were delayed. Someone made sure we had hammocks to relax in. And of course we had our dance floor for our Halloween party (yes in December)

Francisco and Ariel did an awesome job on the water. The reefs do look different. What I noticed was there was actually more marine life swimming on the reef since last year and there is more reefs exposed than before the store. The icing on the cake was as we were getting ready for our twighlight dive a manta jumped out of the water next to the boat!

Thanks to all the staff and I can not wait to come back next year!

I wanted to thank everyone at Scuba Club Cozumel for a fantastic week! My wife and I had come down from San Diego last week after having to reschedule our vacation as a result of Wilma. We had made plans to stay at another resort on the island the last week of October but Mother nature had other plans. As devistating as the huricane was for the island and its residents, it was a turn of good luck for us as it allowed us to stay the week with one of the best dive operations we have ever visited. Your staff was very accommodating, professional and knowledgable while providing an environment that is exclusively dedicated to divers - on a land based resort!

Your staff has done a miraculous job putting the resort back together. When inside the resort, one would never know the devistation that Wilma brought to the region.

We are currently sharing our experiences and photos with our dive friends and have already compiled a substantial group who will be visiting your resort in the very near future. My wife and I travel the world and had recently spent 3 years operating a dive boat (among other things)in the Persian Gulf so I have a good understanding how challenging it can be, even under the best conditions. We have both agreed, without question that we will add Scuba Club Cozumel to our list of annual (if not more often) dive trips. Outstanding!

My husband and I were among the first group of 12 guests since Hurricane Wilma. For me it was the first time diving at Cozumel. I found the Palancar Gardens to be spectacular and enjoyed the good visibility and drift diving. Our divemaster Manuel helped one of our new divers enjoy her first real warm water diving. We also had 2 in our party get married underwater right in front of the hotel despite a somewhat strong surge that day. The maitre d' Edgar helped us get the wedding cake ready and we had a very meaningful ceremony celebrated later with dinner and dessert.

It seemed that the larger hotels were more damaged. Everyone was working really hard to repair the rooms facing the water and restore the beach and plants to their former state. Despite being there before the official opening on Nov 15th we felt our stay was all that we had hoped for and wish not only Scuba Club Cozumel but the whole island good luck with their reconstruction.

Just returned from Scuba Club, Sunday, November 27, one of the first groups after the hotel reopened November 15. I am happy to report that the dive sites we visited were in good shape. The Scuba Club staff and dive operation was back to business a usual. Many of the trees are regrowing their leaves and repairs to Scuba Club appear almost complete. I highly recommend divers visit Scuba Club for a great dive vacation.

In addition to the positive and glowing comments already made by others who sat through Wilma last month, I would like to add that, at least for the Columbia Scuba group, Scuba Club Cozumel housed, fed and cared for our group of 23 from Saturday when we were originally scheduled to return home until Thursday when we finally got out, ENTIRELY FREE! Wilma was not SCC's fault and they could legitimately have taken the position that we pay for the additional time we stayed but it didn't happen. Once again, this is a measure of the type of people who own, manage and operate this facility. I loved SCC the first time I went there four years ago and have returned every year since then. But as a result of what happened to our group during Wilma, I have an added appreciation for the kindness and dedication of this lovely and phenomenal group of people. I can't wait to go back next year and every year after that for as long as I can.

Being my first open water dive, i was not sure what to expect at cozumel..Stepping into the resort, i immediately fell in love with the resorts charm and warm inviting ambiance. I was treated like family, addressed by name, waited on patiently, and got to know my waiters, maids, and dive staff on a first name basis. The dive staff was wonderful and i enjoyed three days of great sites before the hurricane hit. But it was during these days of no power, no fresh water and high waters that i saw what really makes the scuba club indeed a treasure..these people pulled together and went to work to protect their resort, their boats, but most importantly, i saw the importance they put on their visitors..they moved us to safe rooms, made sure that even in the midst of the worst part of the storm, that we had food and fresh water to drink, and candles to stave off the darkness. This truly could have been an ultimate horrible time, but my fears were put to rest knowing that they took care of me and my group like we were family to them.. fot this i will truly be grateful and know that my safe return to the states was due to the resort owners and their wonderful staff..Scuba club, you have earned my loyalty and i am doing my best to advertise for you up in the states..you are the only resort i will stay at when i come back again!! Muchas Gracias.

After two weeks of WONDERFUL diving we got word of Wilma approaching. Truly, it was a horrendous experience to be in such a dangerous storm but the staff at Scuba Club took every measure they could to make us safe and comfortable. I am so impressed with the resiliency of the Mexican people and how they met the challenge and that was and is a big one to repair the damage to the resort. They had many guests to feed and care for as well as recover from the damage in a timely way. Thank you to the whole staff; the boat crews, the divemasters, the dining room staff, the office staff, the cleaning staff........truly wonderful to all of us making it as comfortable as they possibly could since we could not leave the island.

Tim, Patricia, and Staff-

I can not thank you all enough for all of the hard work and taking such great care of our group of 25 during and after Wilma! We were all amazed by all of the hard work and the progress you guys made with getting everything cleaned up and ready for guests to return! I know for a fact that you guys will be ready for groups to return by Nov. 12th. Thanks again and we look forward to our return to Cozumel amd Scuba Club!

Tim, Patricia, Sofia, Edgar, Mario and Staff-

I can not tell you guys thank you enough for taking such great care of our group of 25 from Scuba Outfitters. We arrived on Oct. 15th and were se to leave on Oct. 22nd. We were in Cozumel when Wilma hit and Edgar and the staff members that stayed with us took great care of us. The resort kept us well informed and made sure we all had food and water during and after the Hurricane. Once the hurricane passed the food service returned back to "normal" and we were well cared for until we were able to leave on Oct. 27th. Mario even came to work before 5:00am on Thursday the 27th to make sure we were fed before going to the airport. Our group will be back to Cozumel and the only place to stay is Scuba Club Cozumel! Thanks again.

My wife Marie and I were part of the Columbia Scuba group which came October 15 and had our stay unexpectedly extended by Hurricane Wilma! While experiencing a Cat 5 hurricane wasn't something we'd planned on, if I had to have that experience I'm glad it was on this island of Cozumel, in this hotel, and with this group of people!

The staff prepared as well as anyone possibly could have prepared. No one had anticipated the storm sitting on us from 10 PM Thursday until 10 AM on Saturday. The staff had provided us with food and water and tried everything possible to ensure our safety. Edgar in particular did an outstanding - even heroic - job of supporting and protecting the guests.

As the weather cleared, guests and staff alike pitched in with the cleanup and the courtyard was sparkling by late Sunday - albeit without many of the beautiful palm trees which had graced it previously. The staff served a hot meal in the afternoon. By Monday, we had emergency power and running water restored. By Tuesday, sliding glass doors were being replaced, people were chipping paint, breaking chunks of concrete with sledgehammers, and scrubbing the rooms. When we finally got word that Continetal Air had sent several planes on Thursday, Sofia even came to the airport with the guests to see us off and help with any problems.

Oh - and the 3 days of diving that we had prior to Wilma's arrival were great too! The twilight dive on Tuesday featured everything you might hope to see on an evening dive rolled into one: moray, octopus, nurse shark, turtles, lobsters and crabs.

Thanks again to all the staff for your care. We'll be back!

Dear Tim & Patricia,
I was with you in October with the Scuba Outfitters group when Wilma arrived.
It was my first visit to Mexico, and to say the least it's a trip I will always remember for many reasons. I want you to know how much I appreciate all your efforts and hospitality. Your normal day to day service from everyone on your staff was excellent, but when Wilma arrived the the care and service went to a new level given the conditions. It was outstanding. I learned a lot about your people, your country, and myself. It was all a great experience. I will always remember the friendly wonderful attitude of the people. You have such a great spirt about you. I want to thank you for all your kindness. I feel I have made new friends. I wish you well and a speedy safe recovery.
Thank you very much,

I was at Scuba Club during Hurricane Wilma. The resort held up pretty good. The staff was amazing. With all the devistation the island took and with families of their own, the staff took amazing care of us. They made sure we had plenty of water and food. They were up and running in no time. I cannot say enough good things about Scuba Club. Can't wait to get back.

Dan, my favourite "buddy" and I just returned from what can only be described as a blissful week at Scuba Club Cozumel.
Between us, we have had the great fortune to visit several countries with different beautiful dive locations; this trip to Cozumel being a first for both of us. We loved it!
Scuba Club is a wonderful resort for avid divers and we logged 17 dives with nearly the same number of hours bottom time. Although some of the sites require trips of over an hour on the boats...turquoise seas, sunshine, nice, comfortable dive boats and friendly crew make the ride a pleasure. Our DM, Carla was charming and attentive and always managed to find wonderous creatures on all 11 boat dives...each time to a different site. Unlike other resorts we have visited, we were fortunate and there were no repeats...though I doubt we would have had a problem with visiting any of the sites a second time. This is beautiful diving and the diversity and abundance of life is such that one could dive the same spot numerous times and it would never feel repetitive.
The unlimited shore diving was definitely a selling point in our choice and we were not disappointed. The depth averages about 20', which allows for liesurely dives spent poking about the nice little artificial reef they have created, or the grassy areas out a bit farther from shore. (try a little drift dive from the lighthouse back to the resort. 3 dollar cab ride, 45 minute drift)
There is plenty to see in the yard during the day; eels, crabs, lobsters, rays and of course countless fish species...but at night...amazing! We enjoyed several night dives with the shallows allowing for bottom times of well over 100 minutes with plenty of air to spare. On one dive, we saw 8 Octopii in addition to the myriad of sleeping parrots and angels and the two giants that we visited regularly---a lobster so large that each of his antennae was the length of Dan's arm, and the Burrfish (?) that was over 3' and as big around as a rolled sleeping bag.
Though we did not go for the food, it was plentiful and tasty and the service was very friendly. (There was a vegetarian dish offered at every meal as well.)
The rooms are beautiful. Spacious and private and yet still incredibly close to the restaurant and the pier---and what views! We were completely enchanted with the accomodations.
It was a perfect week, between the diving, the resort and the weather.
We both agreed that this was the nicest vacation either of us has enjoyed. Many thanks! Can't wait to return!

My wife and I just spent a week at the SCC and this was our first time at SCC. To give you some useful information let me give you some background. I researched all the different hotels at Cozumel and finally settled on SCC based on some criteria important in my decision making. I wanted a small hotel with a meal plan that had a nice dive operation and was reasonably priced. I read many different comments on many different forums and narrowed my choices to Fiesta Americana, Reef Club and the SCC and finally settled on SCC, because of their special price for the months of September and October. Although price was not on the top of my list but it was a factor and I am glad we chose SCC. The hotel (club) as I mentioned is a small operation that caters to divers, which is very important. The room was clean and nice and the maid service was excellent. The food is prepared to order or you can order from the menu. This means that you get made to order food and no!
t some buffet food which sits out there for hours. The wait staff is great, very attentive, nice and pleasant. It was a joy to have Tomas, Jesus and others to wait on us. The front desk personnel and others were also very accommodating. As for the dive shop let me just say one word. Superb. Under the guidance of Raymundo, the dive operation which includes all the dive masters and the boat crew, take the extra step to make sure that you have a great dive. Both dive masters, Nestor and Manuel (Free Willy), were extra helpful in taking their time in preparation and the actual dives. Little Buddha helped on every trip to set up our tanks and made sure all of our equipment were in order for the dives. They all helped in making every dive a great experience. All in all we were very happy with our stay at SCC and we have them on top of our list for whenever we go back to Cozumel. Thank you everybody at SCC.

ey everyone!! I know you might not remember me, but you might remember my dad Peter Torres. We used to come down there quite a bit to go scuba diving with his classes from CAL DIVE and TRAVEL. Anyways for anyone that is wanting to visit Cozumel and want to scuba, this is definatly the place to go. The last time i was there was when i was 12, and now i'm 22, but i can still remember the food, the diving and i can still remember falling asleep is those hammocks when the waves were crashing up on the pier. Thanks for giving me such a great experience as a kid it is really something i will never forget. Thanks a bunch to the former Galapago Inn, Thats Patricia and Jesus...gracias :)

Patricia & SCC Staff,
We had the best time at SCC than we've ever had any where else in Cozumel. We've stayed at many hotels and SCC is hands down the absolute best. The service was beyond belief, the dives were incredible, the food was to die for, the resort was beautiful and last but not least, the people that work at SCC are greatest. Jesus, Isabel, Patrica, Antonio, Miguel, all were wonderful. We will book again and we are telling everyone about what a nice place it is. The memories you have given us will be with us forever. Thank you for a great time and we hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

My husband and I returned August 8 from SCC. It was our first time there, but it WON'T be our last!! We had a wonderful time. The resort is quiet (I have never slept so well on a vacation!) and clean, the food's great, and the water is spectacular. We went on a night dive and saw so many octopi we stopped counting, along with lots of other treats. Francisco was our divemaster for our five days (well, four of the five) and he was great. Some friends met us there midweek, and they loved it also. Thanks for a truly memorable vacation! See you soon!

We had the best vacation at the Scuba Club Cozumel. We came after the hurricane Emily, the hotel and all the operation is not affected by hurricane. This is nice and clean hotel, the food was excellent, friendliest staff and very helpful. I would like to say thank you to the staff at Scuba Club. Special thanks to Sophia, Reef Diver crew, Raymundo, and Martine. We never dive, after received the certified last year. My wife is not very confident under the water. She just learns how to swim last summer. When we arrival to SCC, she said, she only go for one dive and I pay for 7 days and 5 dive package. The first day Sophia took my wife dive at the shore and she gain more confident. The next morning we do not want to dive. Raymundo come to offer for my family (my two kids) and other two guests on small boat with one dive master. He said do not worries the dive master will take care. First dive my wife go with Martine, I follow both of them. When finish first dive, she go again on second dive. Here again, she continue go everyday in the morning and completed 9 dives. Thanks to Sophia and Martine and Raymundo for the memory video. Thanks to restaurant staff and Mario. MarioÌs son in-law gives me a tour to Chich»n Itz…. All hotelsÌ staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not offer any water sport, but if you want to go, the font desk will call outside and reserve for you. I select the SCC, because the staff are friendly, Dive masters are knowledgeable and safety for my wife. If you want to have good dives, friendly staff, safety dive and not many rules and paper work (big hotels). This is place for you.

I would like to say thank you to the staff at Scuba Club. I brought a group of sixteen divers from Underwater Sports in Washington state. I was tentative to bring a group down with hurricane Emily headed for Cozumel. As it turned out, Emily did strike, but the resort was organized and well prepared. We did not miss a meal and our two lost days of diving were easily made up. I am already planning next year's return. Special thanks to Tim, Sophia, Reef Diver crew, Miguel, Nestor and Martine, and the dining staff. Your dedication and effort is greatly appreciated.

We take trips to Cozumel 3 times a year to dive and relax. Anyone looking for the perfect place you must try Scuba Club. Tim you have a wonderful operation and do a fantastic job making everyone feel at home. You should feel proud. We have had a chance to dive with all of the divemasters and everyone of them are execellent. Yes we have our favorite and you know who you are :) but I would dive with any one of the staff. Thanks Gieser, Raymundo, Juan, Franscio, Free Willy, Jesus, Ariel, Marteen and William for making our group always feel at home. Yes, I Love Scuba Club and we feel like the staff there is our second family. Mario, you are great and do whatever you can to make everyone feel special. The resturant staff are very friendly and helpfull. Last I can't forget the deck hands. They are fantastic at everything they do. I can't say how many times they stopped me from doing something stupid, I always forget those darn weights. There are many hotels and resorts on Cozumel along with hundreds of dive operations. Scuba Club sets a standard for others to follow, but no one on the Island can compete. WE just certified our kids and their first dives will be at Scuba Club this August. What else can we say, thats how much we trust the staff.

I first stayed at the hotel in 1982 when it was called the Galapago Inn. I've stayed there the total of 12 times since, three trips I took my wife and kids. It's the only hotel I will ever stay in while I'm in Cozumel. It's sort of like home and the staff including the dive staff and boats are all so professional and still friendly at the same time. I can't wait until I visit there again. Thanks for all the memories!

My son and I had a wonderful vacation at the Scuba Club from March 19 - 24. This is a divers paradise. All you need to do is sleep, eat, and dive! The location is perfect - you can walk to downtown or you can stay at Club the entire time. We really enjoyed the staff and service, and were especially pleased with the bottled water coolers on every floor. The grounds and rooms are clean and well kept, there really isn't anything I found wrong with the entire operation. Highly recommended for divers of all levels.

We just returned from SCC last night. It was our first trip and we had a wonderful time. As everyone else has said, the staff and food were great, and rooms were very nice. Miguel Blanco was our DM and he made sure that we saw a variety of sea life and had great dives. We were on the Reef Star for most of our dives, and the crew was very always ready to lend a hand. We had such a great time, we are planning to return in August. This is truly a wonderful place to dive.

The Scuba Club Cozumel (SCC) was the best vacation I ever had
It is very clean, well kept and secure. Everyone was great, staff was devoted to making you happy. All the guests are great easy to make new friends. The food was excellent. Portions are decent, out of the week I was there I heard no one complain on the food, everyone actually raved over it. Make sure you bring your own amenities, no shampoo, lotion or tv & phones. Very relaxing without them. The beds are hard but comfortable; I never had a cold shower, and did not here of anyone else running out of hot water. The rooms are very quiet & spacious. Views are awesome.
The diving is great, the divemasters are very observant and if you want to see different things or need help there there. The shore diving is very good, especially for night diving. Make sure to bring locks because dive lockers are provided and are large enough for
2 divers gear per locker.

We spent 7 days at Scuba Club and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff is extremely accomodating and very friendly. Mario and the rest of the kitchen crew were fabulous. Scuba Club is comfortable and is catered specifically for diving. It isn't too far to walk into town and visit Senior Frogs, Carlos & Charlies and other local hot spots. I will be visiting there again. There are hammocks by the sea, so after a morning of diving and a very delicious lunch, you can just relax with a good book until your afternoon shore dive. I highly recommend this resort!!!

Absolutely wonderful from start to end. These are good people from start to finish (including the guest). Integrity and honestey are the norm here. The gals doing reservations were careful and curtious. At the site, security was good, gracious and helpful. Front Desk personnel were friendly, informative and thourough. Housekeeping was a silent working machine. Dive Shop personnel have a sense of humor and are very helpful at all levels. Experienced dive guides and boat crews. Restaurant staff accomodating and gracious. Reef is very healthy. Diver's of all levels. Many taking courses while there (all levels). People come here to dive. They come as groups, couples and families. When not diving, there are plenty of other things to do. Dress is casual throughout. Bring your favorite dive T-shirts. Dress clothes are acceptable, but not needed. One tip, bring cash for tip money. No one will ask you for a dime during your stay (no pressure at all). A tip of about $125 to $150 per person per week to spread around the staff is reasonalble.

Recently back home from our 2nd Scuba Club vacation. Again we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at Scuba Club. The food continues to be great, rooms are clean as are the grounds. We enjoy the quiet relaxing atmosphere that Scuba Club provides and came away feeling very relaxed. If you are looking for a relaxing get-away in a small warm friendly atmosphere this is the place to go. Our most recent trip December 12th through the 20th, 2004 was for our 25th wedding anniversary which everyone at Scuba Club helped us to celebrate. Special thanks to Sophia for helping my husband with the wine and cake and to the housekeeping staff for the beautiful flowers and decorating in our room. As usual Octavio, Alsonso, Tomas and the rest of the restaurant staff were great and always make us feel special. Mariana is a super gal at the front desk, as usual she was very helpful with our many questions. The dive masters are the best. It was so nice and such a comfort to see the same dive masters and boat crew as last year, they are all wonderful! Thanks to everyone at Scuba Club for making our 25th wedding anniversary even more special, you are all fantastic! We will definetly be returning and highly recommend Scuba Club.

I stayed at SCC last oct 2004. Its a divers heaven. I remember breaking a fin strap on a new pair of fins and didnt have an extra in my Save a Dive Kit, they just gave me one right out of there on site dive shop. I did the all inclusive and only left the hotel a couple of times in the 7 days I was there. I went to a Super/Walmart mexican style just a few blocks down the street to get some wine. I even finished my rescue/diver cert while I was there. you can dive day or night right off the docks with a pool connected to the ocean. the food was great the service was great! Just back from my 2nd Scuba Club vacation in 30 days, so that tells you something about how great this place is! Marina is super at the friont desk for welcoming and answering all the questions you might have about the island and resort. Sophia is the greatest for booking rooms and is so very accomidating to the needs of the guests! thank you both very much. Octavio, Alonso, Tomas and Jesus plus the rest of the staff at Scuba's dining areas are the greatest. They are all fun and makes the stay very comfortable and hospitable. The grounds staff and the rest of the services including house keeping are good. They are most accomidating and very helpful with any questions and needs. The dive shop is good, Manuel and Budda made the dives and boat trips very enjoyable. The dives are all the same for each trip, however, on this trip i saw different sides of the same dive sites that Ihad never seen before. I am still thinking the shop can mix up the dives sites and not visit the same 10 or 12 every 5 day rotation. The staff is good and some improvements can be made to the shore diving habit to bring in more fish and other creatures into the area. There is great potential!!! This is a great palce to vacation and be pampered to some extreme, enjoy your time on the island at Scuba Club!

Spent 6 days and 5 nights at SCC from 10-15 Nov, 2004. Had two rooms for 2 adults and 2 teen agers. Food was great, pleanty of fruit and Mex variety. Our dive master was very knowlegdable, crew was very helpful. We had the same boat and dive master/crew all 3 dive days. Simply a perfect getaway. The kids wanted a TV, but oh well. Beds were very hard as well as the pilows. Staff was super nice, friendly, and effecient. Note: Rent some mopeds and explore the ocean side of the island, it's well worth the small rental price {stop in at Alberto's Beach Bar, they'll treat you right, plenty of fresh lobster & beer}. Town is typical tourist town, good deals if you're willing to haggle. All-n-All, a clean, fiendly, well run resort and would recommend to adults for relaxing stay.

My first trip to Scuba Club ( Nov. 10th --17th was great!! Marina made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Met some great and awesome divers. Security is good and the food is great...the portions are to large for me as good as the food all tastes! :) Octavio is a lot of fun and makes the meals fun! I was close enough to town to get there with around a 10-15 minute walk, but Scuba Club takes care of all your needs. The house-keeping staff is great! they brought extra towels after each boat dive and the rooms were immaculate. The dive shop needs some work in the leadership category....the same boats dives in a week?? Come on guys! There are enough dives in Cozumel that we can get away from doing the same dives over and over!! Over all the trip was great. I would like to see way more artifical reef in front for shore diving to capitalize on the potential for great sights!

We went to Scuba club for the first time in July and had a wonderful time. The diving is incredible. The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were always clean and well tended. The view from our room was spectacular!!! My one suggestion would be to have the dive boats geared to the skill levels of the divers. Looking forward to many more dive trips with your resort.

First time to Cozumel and we had a great time. Want to say a special thanks to Marina, who made our trip so comfortable, Octavio made our dining experience awesome, and Budda, who not only took care of us on the boat, but he became a friend. The diving was great and we can't wait to return.

Well, once again we had a great dive vacation at Scuba Club. This year we had a few first time visitors in our crew and they raved about the service in all areas, dive crew, divemaster (Geiser), quality of dives, food, and rooms. We reclaimed our volleyball title, but lost our basketball title. A special thanks to Sophie, Tim, and Mario for their extra efforts. It takes people of this caliber to deliver the excellent service offered by Scuba Club.

After we left Cozumel, Wanda and I went on to Australia for our fifth visit while the rest of the crew returned home. We had the opportunity to dive on the Great Barrrier Reef with three different businesses. Each time we were really disappointed. It wasn't just that our expectations were so high. It was because we had just come from Scuba Club. So, we finally found a negative thing about Scuba Club...You spoil us! We really did try
not to make a comparison.

People ask us why we keeping going back to the same
place to dive year after year. Our reply is simple, "Come with us and you will know!" Looking forward to seeing everyone again next summer, if not before. The Burlesons and The Chico Crew.

I always fell like I am coming home when I visit Scuba Club. From Sophia greeting me by name, Alonso welcoming me back, and Miguel showing me the underwater sights, every aspect of the stay is personalized and friendly. How do you remember us all in such great detail? This was my seventh stay and I will keep coming back. You are the best. Until next year...

Being our first visit to Scuba Club, I would like to comment on how wonderful our vacation was. We brought a group down for the week of July 10th and our experience was so impressive that we are planning our return trip in July, 2005. A huge thank you to the Reef Diver crew, as well as all resort and dive shop employees as it truly wouldn't be a successful resort without the dedication each and every one of you have.
We'll see you in a year!

My dive buddy, Denise, and I had a wonderful dive trip at SCC, ending May 3rd. Everyone on the staff was so friendly, from Mario, the doorman, to the dining room staff, the maids, and of course, the dive shop staff. Jesus, our dive master, was terrific. Friendly, funny, and knew the waters and where to find the critters we wanted to see. He made it a pleasure. Met some great people, and will defintely be back!

Just returned from a wonderful vacation. SCC staff were very helpful. Thank you to waiters Alberto and Saul for your excellent service. The food was great and very plentiful (too much for the waistline). The rooms were clean and I always enjoyed the "toiletpaper flowers" left by the chambermaids :). Boats were great and boat crews were fun and attentive. Thank you to divemaster Alberto for the fun with the "Dr Suess fish" (juvenile drum). Would return to SCC in a heartbeat!

I just recently returned from yet another fabulous trip to Cozumel and Scuba Club. I have been coming back to Scuba Club for the last 13 years because of the amazing experiences I have there. The dive masters are the best that I have ever encountered and the hospitality of the hotel staff in general is fabulous. This last trip I worked with William to achieve my dive master certification and I am so glad that I got it at Scuba Club as William is definitely one of the best teachers possible. Thanks, friend. As for the rest of the dive masters - to Alberto, Ariel, Jose, Miguel, Geiser and Raymundo - thanks for showing me the ropes. You guys make every other dive experience pale in comparison. And I finally got to see the elusive frog fish thanks to Alberto's fabulous eyes.

Michael and I were there at SCC for our second time in Room 78 right above the dive shop and we didn't need an alarm clock...we would wake up to the guys always laughing .and always in a good mood as they got the tanks ready around 7am... for the 8:30 am 2 tank trip . the wreck dive was awesome and thank you Ariel for your amusing tour of the "head" ..I am still LOL over that one...My favorite dive is the 2 tank twilight/ night dive with Jesus .. it was awesome when he jumped in ( catapulted) and rescued one of the diver's mask... Palancar Gardens and Yucab at night ..and now I finally heard those grunting toadfish.. and Punta Tunich is still .. an extreme thrillride.. in regard to relaxing.. No phones and No TV.. plenty of meticulously groomed open spaces.. plenty of "aqua" and ice cream combined with that wonderful Mexican hospitality ..we'll be back again..thanks so much all of you.

My wife and I just returned from our first salt water dive trip. Our stay at "The Scuba Club" is a fond memory we will both remember the rest of our lives! The club is well run and organized and the staff made us feel welcome from the time we arrived until it was time to leave. The boat diving was very well organized, all you had to do was watch the operation of a larger resort just down the shore to see the difference. We will return to Cozamel to dive again and we will not even think of staying anyplace else but at "The Scuba Club"!! I would like to thank the entire staff for a wonderful relaxing get away from the rat race for the week we were there, and we will see you again soon!

Well I just spent my first week at Scuba Club Cozumel from April 4-11th, and now I can appriciate why everyone raves about this place. My son and I had the most fantastic time staying here relaxing and diving every single day. Everyone, from Sophia at the front office, to all of the staff working here, were wonderful. As for the diving, this was my son's first dive trip, and the care and the professionalism that Miguel our Divemaster showed us was top notch. Between Cozumel's legendary dive sites and Miguel's guidence we had a trip of great memories. I would most happily return to Scuba Club someday.

I can't believe I'm back home typing this, when it feels as if moments ago I was in Cozumel paradise. I just returned from my 3rd trip to Scuba Club in one year's time. I have been diving for 1 1/2 years and needless to say.... I love this resort. The staff is incredibly warm and personable; this has to be one of the best maintained hotels I've ever stayed in... everything is emmaculatly clean and the landscaping from the tile work to the fauna is beautiful. There are so many special touches here as well; I especially appreciate the artistic way the sand is raked everyday and the the food is TO DIE FOR!!!!!! The entire diving experience from check-in to check-out is top notch. For most of the week, Alberto was my divemaster. He is passionate about diving and sharing his knowledge of the sea (sailfin blennie was my favorite critter he introduced to me)- friendly and warm with a great sense of humor for the rides out to the sites. I think I need a pill for my Scuba Club withdrawls. Can anyone help me until my next trip there? Julie

My husband, Dave and I have been to Scuba Club many times. As a non-diver - I love it!! I can read, sleep, have my own hammock all day long while everyone else is diving! And I only have to pack my bathing suits, shorts and t-shirts! Nothing fancy to pack - no need! No worries! I've been to Cozumel 9 times and have stayed at several very fine hotels. But without a doubt, Scuba Club is the best. This summer will make number 10 for me, 4th time at Scuba Club. I have taken groups as large as 21 and as small as 6. Everyone wants to go back to Scuba Club. Absolutely the Best all-inclusive I've been to. Great boats and Dive Masters, Lots of diving (safe)(have good batteries, my computer didn't shut down for a week), Fantastic food and lots of it (overeating is a very definite reality), Very nice hotel made for DIVERS. Clean, Comfortable, close to town, I could go on and on about the place. Once you try it, you too will go back, again and again. Very easy people to work with. I book with Amy@caradonna.com she has been incredible.

We just returned from Cozumel and wanted to tell everyone how great Scuba Club Cozumel was. The food is excellent. The people that work there are fantastic. The rooms are always clean as is everything at the Scuba Club. We were always entertained by the waiters who were very nice and helpful. Then there were the dive leaders. There aren't enough words to say how great they were. Jose is my hero. My husband had a little problem and if it wasn't for Jose and the boat crew it could have been very bad. They were very skilled and did everything right. Thanks to them and the doctors and nurses at the Hyperbaric Chamber my husband and I are safely home and doing well. Sophia was so wonderful to us also. There was a chance that we might have to stay a little longer and Sophia was making special arrangements incase we had to. Even with our trip to the Hyperbaric Chamber we can honestly say that this was the best vacation we ever had. We loved everyone who works there and every thing they did for us. Can't wait to come back. Thanks so much to all of you.

Hi, just a quick note to reenforce how satisfied we are with Scuba Club. We returned from a trip to Bonaire and it was less than satisfactory. The place where we stayed, had numerous problems with tanks, some members of the dive crew were inexperienced and rude to guest. We noticed they also didn't put safety first like you do. The food didn't even compare and the world reknown shore diving was a disappointment also. We know you have spoiled us but, this experience just really made us appreciate our trips to Cozumel. We will be returning with a group in June and look forward to a great time diving and visiting - not to mention winning the annual basketball bash and perhaps reclaiming our volleyball title. My husband and I have just returned home from a week-long trip with 28 other people from St. Louis and wanted to take this time to compliment everyone on the staff. At no time during the week did I ever hear anyone complain. The rooms were clean, the food was great (especially the ice cream after each meal!) and the dives were breath-taking. Alberto,"Zorro", made each dive enjoyable and rewarding. He was always able to find the frog fish, toad fish, or sea horse where he said they were! His knowledge of the dive sites was outstanding. Our group of 8 that dove together with Alberto always had the best stories to tell! The entire dive crew knew how to have fun while keeping our safety at mind. Thank you so much for the great memories and the wonderful pictures of the frog fish and sea horses! We'll see you again!

My husband and I stayed in Cozumel in December 2002. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and location of Scuba Club Cozumel. We rented a small house a couple of blocks away but on return visits definitely plan to stay right at the Club. The staff of instructors and dive masters was superb! We felt personally welcomed to the shop and island. We had great training and guidance and were shown many things that we would have missed without the very knowledgable dive masters of the Club. We'll be back! No question about it.

We have been to Cozumel several times, but we always stayed at a different place. We just returned from our first stay at SCUBA Club and I have already marked the calendar for our return next year. The diving was amazing. The resort is awesome, but most of all, we have made new friends for life! My hubby and I have been diving everywhere from Northern Califonia, Grand Cayman, Bahamas to Florida caverns. NOTHING compares to Cozumel. Most importantly, nothing compares to the staff and people of SCUBA Club Cozumel. We have made a promise to each other that every year we will visit our new friends and our most favorite place on earth: Cozumel. For anyone curious about this resort, it is a MUST. Can't wait for my third trip to Scuba Club Cozumel! My sister Cindy Ludwigs has been there many times, and turned me on to you two years ago. It had been a while since I had a chance to dive, the waves were crashing and I paniced. I marched right over to the dive shop and Casey hooked me up with Jesus. Yes, I was saved by Jesus in Cozumel! He was very professional and his wonderful way with people calmed me down. On my second trip to Cozumel I logged 20 dives, and even came up with plenty of air. Miguel, (Toad Fish), and Manuel (Free Willy) were also excellent Dive Masters. You are also very lucky to have Sophia and Mario on your staff. I chose to do my open water dives to complete my Open Water Certification at Scuba Club instead of Ohio. Raymundo Rameriez was an excellent instructor. I was confident and comfortable after completing those dives; so much so, that I completed my Advanced Open Water, too. The diving was extraodinary. The dive locations were varied and the divemasters were great guides and showed us so much at the dive sites. The boat crew of the Observer was super! I really enjoyed the wreck dive and the groupers! The Scuba Club Cozumel will see me annually, too. All around excellence is the reason I will return.

I stayed and dove with Scuba Club Cozumel for two weeks starting May 4, 2003. Though it was my sixth trip to this beautiful island, it was only the first time I chose SCC. Only 24 hours later, I realized that I should have chosen SCC even in my previous 5 trips, as the room was very clean, the food and service in the beautiful restaurants were amazing, while the Divemasters, the boat crews and the dive shop staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. After only 3 days, everybody started to call me by name. At SCC I found that almost all the guests were passionate divers, and many of them soon became my friends whose company I enjoyed very much no matter we were dining together in the restaurant, or resting in hammocks next to each other or diving together in the well selected dive sites. Mario had done a fanastic job to run his restaurant so well and to feed me with the best Mexican food I had ever tasted. Ariel and Manuel were very safe Divemasters who showed me numerous interesting creatures in every dive. The other DMs who guided me only one day each were equally impressive. I cannot wait to have my 7th trip to Cozumel and for sure I will choose SCC again.

We have been bringing groups to Scuba Club for approximately ten years. The whole setup is outstanding. We have never had anyone unhappy with any part of their stay.
The past few years Ramondo has been our dive master and he is excellent. His ability to communicate and his concern for safety make us feel assured about bringing new divers to your resort. He is one of the reasons we return. Another person who goes out of her way to make us feel welcomed is Sophia. We always look forward to seeing her. She is very gracious and patient. The food is wonderful and Mario and his staff do an outstanding job of being sure we enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food. Servers
Juan and Thomas have become good friends and we always look forward to seeing them also. The dive shop crew also is helpful in assisting us. Casey's personality and knowledge are definite assets to the club. We have been diving in numerous places including the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and no place can match Scuba Club. We get people from this area contacting us, particularly college students, who want to go because they heard so many great things from other people about Scuba Club.
The only thing we have noticed in the past two years is that the group of employees who play basketball and volleyball against us have become slower- Could this be age? We are the champions and plan to continue to dominate!

Scuba Club has been my favorite dive resort since 1996. The staff always goes the extra mile (kilometer), to make you feel at home. I also appreciate that the Dive instructors and Dive Masters are very respectful of the reef system . Dive briefings are always very thorough . During the dive, They are sure to point out unique photo opportunities. I have met people from all over the world here and the stories that we have shared are priceless. San Miguel is walking distance from Scuba Club. Sundays are my favorite day to go into town. The Mexican culture celebrates family better than most. This is evident while spending a sunday walking around the town square. The staff at Scuba Club make me feel like part of their family. I will always come back for the great diving and the great hospitality.
